Park Lighting project " Ilumination area square Hilarego Krzysztofiaka u zbiegu ulic Hallera i Obrońców Westerplatte w Katowicach POLAND in 2011

In 2011, a public lighting project was completed at the square of Hilarego Krzysztofiaka, where Hallera and Obrońców Westerplatte streets meet in Katowice, Poland. The project focused on upgrading the park’s old lighting system using energy-saving LED lighting solutions.

Client contacted Prodigital Technology Corp. for a new setup. The proposed lighting used warm white 3000K LED street lights to replace outdated incandescent lamps. In total, 53 waterproof outdoor park street light lamps were installed across the park.

These LED parking lot lights retrofit fixtures were selected for their efficiency, low maintenance, and improved brightness. The use of waterproof outdoor street lights LED ensures stable performance in all weather conditions, making them ideal for public areas.

Safety for pedestrians and visitors was a major priority. Brighter outdoor venue illumination improves visibility at night and supports community use of the park after sunset. With reliable lighting, the area now feels more open and comfortable for evening walks and public use.

This project also reflects growing interest in eco-friendly illumination. By switching to LED, the city has lowered electricity use and operating costs.
